According to a new rumor from Reddit, Death Stranding could receive the first DLC expansion entitled “September-1998” with a lot of raid mode in the summer of 2020.
The release of the add-on of Death Stranding should accompany that of the PC version, foreseen precisely on Epic Games Store and Steam in that same time window.
According to the user “okdaydreamer”, who cites “a fairly credible source”, the expansion would include a raid mode of some kind not yet specified.
The expansion would be provided for a fee and the story of the game would continue directly from the end, so it would be a real additional content other than the additional mode.
Clearly, this is a rumor and we have no way of confirming it at this stage: we will see in the not too distant future whether it will really be done or not.
Death Stranding is now available on PS4 and will release on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store in the early summer of 2020.
