Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Plagued with Annoying Ads, Here’s How to Get Rid of It

0 482

Since games enjoy the possibilities offered by the permanent online connection, it has become common to see various advertisements that give an account of promotions or the arrival of new content. In the case of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, this is not different, but the arrival of a new DLC seems to generate problems for the players.

According to a report by Kotaku, the debut of the first episode of Fate of Atlantis, the new DLC of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, has caused the appearance of an annoying announcement that is invading the game sessions. According to the information, the promotional banner that invites the player to acquire the episode appears at the slightest provocation, even when it has been acquired and also installed. Whether you try to enter the menu or try to locate a point on the map, the Fate of Atlantis promotional advertisement appears immediately.

And if that was not enough, the announcement of the DLC of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey shows an error on the screen and commands, because in the PS4 version, both the circle and X button indicate that when you press them the ads will close, however, this only happens by pressing the first, otherwise the game will send the user to the PlayStation Store.

The only possible way to fix this issue is to just close the app/game altogether and start it up again. Simply restart your game if the advertisement shows up for you. So far, Ubisoft has not given an official response on this situation.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Have you seen the announcement of Fate of Atlantis in the game? Tell us in the comments below.
